Implementing a Therapeutic Vibration Fall Reduction Program in Your Community

With the introduction of the new VibeSit PRO portable therapeutic vibration device to nursing homes, activities centers, assisted living facilities, group homes, memory care facilities and hospitals in communities throughout the United States, VibeTech is poised to offer training and assistance in demonstrating how to collaborate to provide the most effective fall reduction program available to people living with cognitive impairments and others who are at a heightened risk of falls throughout the continuum of care.

For a limited time, as an added benefit of using one or more of the VibeSit PRO portable therapeutic vibration devices, VibeTech will offer assistance in establishing a community-based Therapeutic Vibration Fall Reduction Program free of charge to all customers.

Through a 2020 McKnight’s Gold Award for Innovator of Year winning partnership with Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth, Wis., VibeTech has actively paved the path for individuals to restore strength, function, and dignity to live the highest quality of life possible with fewer falls when no other innovator has tackled this critically important issue of fall reduction in one of the most vulnerable populations, those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

A multi-site, cross-continuum of care approach will be replicated in cities across the country to reduce falls and improve the quality of life for one of the most critically underserved populations who the healthcare system has left behind because it did not previously have the tools to offer top-caliber assistance. This process includes the development of caregiver training programs designed to deliver effective communication techniques for elderly care recipients and those with cognitive impairments, the use of technology in training, including remote training, facilitating community collaboration through engagement with community partners such as hospitals, clinics, senior living facilities, home healthcare providers, local schools/colleges, and technology businesses and enhancing therapeutic vibration fall prevention treatments with other established fall prevention techniques through encouraging proper nutrition, proper footwear, installation of grab bars/railings and implementation of proper lighting, ensuring medication is dosed and delivered properly and keeping up on vision checks.

VibeTech is focused on creating new community partnerships modeled off panelists’ community-based fall prevention advisory groups, including engagement between hospitals, clinics, senior living facilities, senior activity centers, home healthcare providers, and regional aging/Alzheimer’s advocacy groups to guide and grow the fall prevention program and provide the highest level of care at the lowest cost, engaging local schools/colleges in internships for treatment administration and technology development for person-centered care programs and flexible technology, which enables communities to share their best practices with other participating communities by creating apps, videos and protocols, which they have found to improve outcomes
